I got up at 7:30am and worked in the rain planting the daylilies and gently pulling them apart. I worked for three hours on it. I wore a black mud bearing dress and old mukwah's ( Read more... )

I got home to an empty house and got to work in the daylilies. I had to separate and label them before I could plant them. Separating them is hard work. I am dividing them into single or double fans, just so they have the best chance of growing large and healthy ( Read more... )

I have been working in the labyrinth for three hours. I have been planting after weeding and dividing these many new perennials.

I was able to divide the three Barbara Mitchell clumps into 39 plants or small clumps.

I couldn't find the tag for one clump, so divided and planted it in a line.
